Western Region National Division Two Mid-Season PET came to a close today In Mumias

The Western region closing ceremony at Mumias Central Primary, which followed the Div 2 football scheduled mandatory Physical Endurance Tests (PETs) for match officials officiating in the FKF leagues, was a vibrant event that brought together numerous Div 2 Centre referees and Assistant referees from the western football community. Notable attendees included FKF NEC member for the western region, Mr. Caleb Amwayi, who emphasized the importance of grassroots football development in fostering talent. FKF Kakamega County Chairman Mr. Jeff Mudembei expressed his gratitude to all participants and stakeholders for their unwavering dedication throughout the pet, while FKF Bungoma County Chairman Mr. Denis Simiyu highlighted the successes of the pet and the spirit of sportsmanship displayed during the pet. The ceremony not only celebrated the achievements of the referees but also aimed to inspire the referees to engage more actively in personal development in the field of refereeing.

The second day of the western region division 2 pet referees warm down was supervised by NEC member Caleb Amwayi, who ensured that all participants engaged in comprehensive stretching exercises to promote relaxation and recovery after their intense pet. Caleb provided valuable feedback on their techniques, emphasizing the importance of proper body mechanics to avoid injuries and burn outs, while also fostering a sense of dedication to their calling and camaraderie among the referees, who exchanged insights and experiences from the just concluded pet.
