🔵 ZONE A: Goal Gluts and Clinical Finishes
Ploty FC kicked off the weekend in style with a commanding 2-0 win over Melody United at Musemwa Primary School. M.Obadiah opened the scoring in the 19th minute before M.Fortune sealed the victory in the 55th. Melody’s R.Willie picked up an early booking just five minutes in, while Ploty’s L.Lesley also saw yellow.
Mlimani FC wasted no time asserting dominance, scoring just one minute into their clash against Matunda Youth through C.Maina. Goals from W.Davis (34’) and B.Victor (90’) completed a solid 3-0 win, although E.Kelvin picked up a late yellow.
Youngsters FC (Likuyani) delivered one of the biggest performances of the round, thrashing Matisi FC 5-1 at Lugulu Primary. L.Leon bagged a brace (21’, 50’) while G.Ignitious also struck twice (28’, 65’). O.James added another, while Matisi’s consolation came through K.Tonny at 28’.
Sunday saw Kilimani FC dismantle Muungano FC 5-1 in a high-energy clash at Kilimani Primary School. S.Benard netted twice (21’, 28’), while O.Jerrymond (68’, 89’) and N.Fedrine (82’) added to the tally. Multiple bookings were recorded on both sides, including yellows for W.Victor, C.Kiharo, and N.Fedrine. Muungano’s lone goal came from M.Peter (67’).
Al Iran FC edged Kagwa FC 1-0 thanks to A.Deevan’s 59th-minute strike, while Nangili FC secured a narrow 2-1 win over Mbururu Stars. An early own goal by K.Morgan gave Nangili the lead before S.Job scored in the 73rd minute. A.Refas responded late for Mbururu.
Homeboys FC wrapped up Zone A action with a tight 1-0 win over Mapera FC, courtesy of E.Lorii’s 13th-minute goal. Mapera’s H.Nyango endured a nightmare, receiving two yellows leading to a red card.
