The action intensified across all pools of the FKF Kakamega County League as goals rained, tempers flared, and title ambitions took shape in a thrilling round of fixtures played between February 25th and March 1st.


🔵 ZONE A: Homeboys Shine, Nangili Hit Top Gear

Homeboys FC delivered one of the standout performances midweek, storming back to defeat Youngsters FC (Likuyani) 3-1 at Lugulu Primary School. O. James had given Youngsters hope in the 22nd minute, but a red card to E. Wamalwa shifted momentum. E. Ainear (brace) and D. Kapanga completed a ruthless turnaround for Homeboys.

Mlimani FC were clinical against Mapera Youth, with B. Kiliru bagging a brace in a 2-0 win at Musembe Primary. The match, however, was clouded by concerns after Mapera featured players without cards.

Muungano FC produced an attacking masterclass, thrashing Mbururu Stars 4-1 at Makutano Primary. K. Glence’s late double sealed the emphatic victory.

Sunday saw Kilimani FC and Melody United share spoils in a pulsating 2-2 draw. D. Wafula’s early brace for Melody was canceled out by K. Emmanuel and C. Ian.

Nangili FC’s S. Job stole the headlines with a stunning hat-trick in a 3-0 win over Matisi FC, in a match where licensing issues again surfaced.

🟢 ZONE B: Goal Fest at Mlimani, Muhomo’s Statement Win

Mukonge FC edged Vuyika FC 4-3 in arguably the match of the weekend. M. Owen’s brace proved decisive in a seven-goal thriller at Mlimani Primary.

Muhomo FC made a loud statement, defeating Matete United 4-2 away. K. Sitit was unstoppable with a hat-trick, dismantling the hosts’ defense in style.

Mukhalanya FC also impressed, scoring twice in the final minutes to secure a 3-1 win over Turbo FC.

Umoja FC maintained composure to defeat Young Tigers 2-0, courtesy of J. Wafula’s brace.

Zone B Standings


🟡 ZONE C: Blue Stars Blaze, Lions Roar

Tombo Foxes silenced Emurumba FC 3-0 away, with T. Fred and S. Bonface leading the charge.

Super Lions FC roared past Amalemba Sportiff 4-2 in a highly entertaining encounter at Sirigoi Primary. Late goals ensured maximum points for the Lions.

Blue Stars FC were inspired by A. Emmanuel’s sensational hat-trick in a 3-1 victory over Kabras Super Strikers.

Meanwhile, Bulupi FC edged Shamoni FC 2-1, thanks to K. Collins’ decisive brace.

🔴 ZONE D: Tsunami Sweep Aside Giants, Eagles Soar

Tsunami United Shihuli lived up to their name, demolishing Shipalo Giants 4-0 in dominant fashion at Shihuli Primary.

The Eagles FC staged a comeback to defeat Lirhanda FC 2-1, while Shisokoro FC narrowly beat Young Simba 1-0 in a heated contest that saw multiple cautions issued.

Magharibi Soccer claimed a walkover win against Sande FC.

Murhanda United endured a mixed week, drawing 1-1 with Malinya Cranes before falling 2-1 to Mundulu FC.

🟣 ZONE E: Bunge March On, Brave Warriors Fire

Bunge FC thrilled their fans at Mwitoti Secondary with a commanding 3-1 victory over Isango FC. L. Btian’s brace laid the foundation before O. Kevin sealed it.

Brave Warriors were ruthless, dispatching Malaha FC 3-0, though a late red card to R. Obingo slightly dented an otherwise dominant display.

FC Olympic maintained consistency, edging Eshimambo 1-0 before holding Besta FC to a goalless draw.

🟤 ZONE F: Hat-Tricks & Turnarounds

Eshitari FC were rampant in a 4-1 demolition of Ikomero FC, with O. Dickson netting twice in a devastating second-half display.

Blueboys FC overcame Eshihaka 3-1, while Shibale United secured a hard-fought 2-1 win over Ihonje Warriors thanks to A. Patrick’s brace.

Ibokolo Youth turned the tables on Chipolopolo FC to win 3-1, while Mbaabo FC edged Eshikomera 2-1 in a dramatic late finish.
