FKF SHINYALU SUB BRANCH LEAGUE LAUNCH

On 3rd April 2024, the FKF Chairman of the Kakamega branch, Mr. Jeff Mudembei, officially launched the first-ever FKF sub-branch league in the vibrant Shinyalu sub-county. The highly anticipated event took place at the well-known St. Philips Mukomari grounds, gathering a large crowd of enthusiastic players, supporters, and local officials eager to witness this monumental occasion in the local sports community. The new league comprises 40 competitive teams, showcasing a diverse talent pool, and has been strategically split into five zones to ensure a balanced and competitive environment. This initiative not only aims to promote football at the grassroots level but also encourages teamwork, skills development, and a sense of community pride among the participants and supporters alike. As the teams prepare to battle it out on the pitch, the excitement in the air is palpable, promising an exhilarating season ahead.
