Western region NEC member Mr. Caleb Amwayi led the FKF team in a solemn burial mass service honoring the late Mzee Nelson Mumalia Nandwa, a respected figure in the community. Mzee Nandwa was not only a beloved elder but also the father of Stephen Nandwa, a dedicated Division One Centre referee known for his integrity and passion for the sport. The service, marked by heartfelt tributes and shared memories, brought together various leaders who came to offer their condolences and support to the grieving family. Among those in attendance were SG Kakamega County Mr. Rajab Wangalwa and renowned Western FIFA referee Adam Juma, affectionately known as Tito, along with many others who had great respect for Mzee Nandwa’s contributions to football and the community. Their presence underscored the unity and solidarity shown during such a difficult time, reflecting the deep connections within the football fraternity.
